François Alu
Born in 1993, François Alu joined the Paris Opera Ballet School in 2004.

That year, he joined the Paris Opera Ballet at the age of 16 and was awarded the prestigious AROP Prize for the best young dancer.
In 2011, he danced the role of the Acrobat in J. Martinez’ Children of Paradise and was invited at Cannes to perform, once again, the role of the Bagnard for the 50-years anniversary of the Rosella Hightower Ecole de Danse.
In 2012, he stood out as the Golden Idol in La Bayadère, and was awarded the Cercle Carpeaux Prize and the Dance AROP Prize.
Within 3rd Floor, he danced works of Williiam Forsythe, Ben van Cauwenbergh, Raul Zeummes and Samuel Murez, both in France and abroad (Festival des Arts de Saint Sauveur in Quebec, Jacob's Pillow in the US).
